TVM Capital

TVM Capital is a transatlantic venture capital firm, based in Munich and Boston, which has been successfully financing emerging companies in technology and the life sciences for more than 20 years. For many years, TVM Capital has focused on investments in these two high-growth sectors where innovation, effective management and sound financial backing have an enormous impact on company growth. The major objective of TVM Capital’s investment strategy is to create global businesses that enjoy worldwide access to science, technology, management talent and capital, and to develop them into significant players in their markets.

Founded as Techno Venture Management in 1983 as one of the first venture capital firms in Germany, TVM Capital raised its first venture capital fund in 1984. After originally opening its office in Munich, TVM Capital added the Boston office in 1986. Today, the firm is one of the very few truly international venture capital firms, counting more than 30 transatlantic deals to date with investments across eight countries and with 50 former portfolio companies listed on stock exchanges in Europe and the USA (including NASDAQ, London Stock Exchange, Frankfurt Stock Exchange, NASDAQ Europe and Swiss Stock Exchange).

Signet Healthcare Partners

Signet Healthcare Partners, part of the Sanders Morris Harris Group Inc, was founded in 1998 with the establishment of the Corporate Opportunities Funds. Since 1998, three funds have been raised and investments in approximately 25 companies completed. The team is comprised of five professionals with principal offices in New York City. This team brings over 100 years experience of collective healthcare experience in the specialty pharmaceutical, medical device, private equity, and investment banking industries.

For the past nine years, Signet Healthcare has maintained its dedicated focus to diversified healthcare investing, primarily serving as lead investor to expansion stage companies engaged in specialty pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and the pharma services industries. Innovation, access to technical skills, lower production costs, and sales and marketing opportunities have created opportunities outside the USA Since inception of the funds, Signet Healthcare has invested on a global basis with approximately 20% of funds committed to entities domiciled in Europe and Asia. In general, investments are made internationally with strong local investment partners. However, Signet Healthcare monitors these international investments in a manner similar to their domestic positions.

Paul Capital Healthcare and Paul Capital Partners

Through its funds, Paul Capital Healthcare is one of the largest dedicated healthcare investors globally, with more than $1.5 billion in equity capital commitments and debt facilities under management. Combined, the Paul Capital Healthcare funds have invested more than $960 million in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device sectors. These investments are focused on commercial stage companies and products, and consist of investments in the form of royalties, revenue interests, debt and equity.
Paul Capital Partners manages nearly $5 billion in equity capital commitments for its three investment platforms, which include Paul apital Healthcare, Private Equity Secondaries and Top Tier Fund-of-Funds. The firm has offices in New York, San Francisco, Paris, London, Hong Kong, and Sao Paolo.
